In 2015 estimated global resources apply for HIV prevention and treatment will expend 22-24 billion dollars; HIV now have become one of the world’s most important prevention issues. HIV management model can effectively reduce infection risk, improve medication compliance, transmission probability, and improve the quality of life .Reducing the expense of medical waste; therefore, the role played by the HIV case managers is important. The aim of this research focuses on the impact of HIV case manager’s role identity, Role Stress, Job Involvement and the job satisfaction. This study was use qualitative research and quantitative research (purposive sampling) as a mixed method. Through the Internet communications software with a structured questionnaire to collect sample. Their search recruited HIV case managers in Taiwan, among these 100questionnaires were returned of 55, the recovery rate is 55 %. The six questionnaires included: basic information, role identity, Role Stress, Job Involvement, social support and job satisfaction. The data obtained with version SPSS17.0 descriptive statistics, T-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation were statistically analyzed. Qualitative Research was assess semi-structured interviews, document verification, expert advices and experience of the researchers themselves to develop interview outline, and selected four HIV case managers in Yunlin and Chiayi for the interviewers. Finally, the data obtained to quantify and quality of the Institute for analysis, and the results make integration relatively. The results found that the primary self-identity of a HIV case managers depend on the “social support ".However, full-time manger’s self-identity is higher than part-time manger’s ,and the years of experience also effect the result. Qualitative and quantitative research shows consistent with the results, obviously seniority have different degree of recognition for the role. Qualitative research found that, compared with non- nursing graduate of mangers significant differences in the pressure of role. In addition, some 70% of the case mangers has delayed work. Research shows that when people work more than three hours overtime then the role stress will begin to increase. The more pressure of role the job involvement willingness is going to lower; in job satisfaction part, role identity, job involvement, and social support are all positively related, but in the pressure of the role is negative related.
