Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 103 === A CMOS optical receiver for optical wireless communication is demonstrated in UMC 0.18μm 1P6M CMOS process technology. The regulated cascode (RGC) circuit is adopted to reduce the effect of parasitic photodiode capacitance (CPD). The ambient photocurrent rejection network (APRN) including an error amplifier (EA) is employed in the optical receiver to reject the low-frequency environmental noise. The limiting amplifier (LA) can further boost the gain of the optical receiver. The optical receiver dissipates 44.15mW from a 1.8V power supply voltage. The total transimpedance gain, bandwidth, and core area are 84.3dBΩ, 2.71GHz in the presence of a 0.3pF photodiode capacitance, and 416μm × 233μm, respectively.
