Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程系 === 102 === To improve of high transportation cost and enhance dewatering efficiency of sludge from traditional filter press, the electro-osmosis dewatering technology (EOD) was investigated in this study. The operating conditions included reactor type (flat and cylindrical), potential gradient (50 V/cm–100 V/cm), electro-osmosis time (4, 6, 8, 10 min), pressure (0, 12 kg) and thickness of filter cloths (0, 1.2, 1.6, 2.2 mm). The results revealed that, (1) The water of sludge was moving from anode to cathode when electro-osmosis start up. (2) At the thickness of filter cloths 1.2 mm, electro-osmosis time 10 min and the potential gradient 60 V/cm–100 V/cm, can making sludge moisture below 50%; especially 100 V/cm ,the sludge electro-osmosis time can be shortened to 6 minutes. In addition, the expenditure cost of electro-osmosis dewatering technology was savings 61.8-62.5%. Accordingly, electro-osmosis dewatering technology will be able to use different electrical properties of sludge in the future. This technology can be used for industrial and achieve cost savings.
