The most successful film-makers are in Hollywood, U.S. where top six film-makers monopolize the global markets. Taiwan is stream onto independent film-makers, pursuing the creation of artistic film. The operation models of Taiwan visual effects industry are independent. Although they have high-technical animation engineers, they don’t have specific cooperation objects and have few experiences in cooperating with domestic and international image corporations. Therefore, the studio mainly creates science fictions. At the beginning, we seek to cooperate with marketing directors in order to promote our reputation. In the middle and later period, we will increase the technical abilities of post-production image groups in order to training our directors’ ability. We hope to cooperate with more movies in the international movie markets by developing image making techniques in order to enhance the reputation in the international market. Summing up, Rich Image Studio mainly focuses on the directors and stories and accompanied by post-production image. Image is no longer a technique; moreover, it is full of showing image. The studio will follow the Lucas film’s successful model through the creation of a science fiction film perspective in order to enhance the visual effects industry in Taiwan. We expect to create a business model which is different from the past of Taiwan’s film visual effects industry.
