All the ingredients are stored in the crispers. Once for the inventory checking time, the staffs only need to check the numbers of the crispers and report them to the company. It was discovered that there is fixed ingredients supplier for the Second Floor Café. However, with the expansion of the site widely, customer flow getting faster, and the consumption volume getting larger, the single supplier could not afford all the orders. It is difficult to find a satisfied suppliers. If not to solve the problems, the image of the company would be influenced and the expense would increase. Therefore, the idea of establishing a trading supplier which is similar to food market but provides a customized service comes to my mind. The main business is providing services toward the change of the ingredients on the market. Although there are similar company doing so, their main customers are with large volumes of orders, such as ge number of orders, such as group meals, chain restaurants, the military and government units, volume sellers and convenience stores. They don’t want to focus on the minority markets which is with high uncertainty. We will our core competitive advantage as follows: (1) innovative ingredients procurement process, (2) customized services, (3) traceable ingredients management, (4) share the cost with the customer. We intend to adopt the business strategy and business model (1) Changing the ingredients procurement process: The vendors usually provide the cheapest ingredients; we will set the customer databases for each of our catering and restaurants, providing them with customized services and delivering the ingredients with the highest standards to the customers. (2) Customized services: General food markets sell what ingredients they own on hand. We providing extra-buying and extra-processing services for our customers to choosing their favorite brand and products. (3) Traceable ingredients management: In order to maintain the quality of goods, we undertake traceable ingredients management. We retrieve the expired or unwanted food, making them into organic fertilizers for our contracted farmers.
