Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 103 === The principal causes of occupational accidents are unsafe behavior and conditions. This study seeks to explore the possibility of raising worker safety attitudes, reducing unsafe behavior and improving work environment safety by means of educational training, and discussing the correlation between the reduction of occupational accidents and training. This study employs a questionnaire from various industries, including semi-conductor, electronic, petrochemical, chemistry, photo-electronic, and traditional industries. The subjects are health and safety trained workers in different positions and of different seniorities. Three hundred questionnaires were distributed and 212 valid ones collected. This study uses the SPSS statistical analysis software to conduct analyses in order to validate the hypothesis raised by this study. The results of the study suggest that: 1.Individual variables (gender, education, position, seniority and industry) partially affect training effectiveness and safety attitudes. 2.There is a positive correlation between training effectiveness and worker safety attitudes. 3.There is a positive correlation between training effectiveness and worker safety perception and attitude, adaptability, and increased danger perceptual vigilance. 4.There is a negative correlation between occupational accidents and training effectiveness and worker safety attitudes. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant correlation between training effectiveness and every aspect of safety attitude; that safety attitudes have a significant predictability for training effectiveness; that educational training helps to raise safety attitudes; that there is a negative correlation between training effectiveness and safety attitudes, and that training effectiveness and safety attitudes have the predictability near misses in occupational accidents; and that worker safety attitudes can be increased and accidents reduced through effective training.
