Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 103 === Many heterogeneous cloud systems have been setup to provide services to various user groups in the world. However, how to integrate the resources of these clouds to provide services is very important. In the past, scholars have proposed the use of a federation cloud to achieve inter-cloud resource integration, which mainly adopt peer to peer and flat-based approach. Furthermore, they do not discuss the process how the topology of a federation cloud is formed. In practice, every cloud system has its ownership and wouldn't share resources for no reason to other cloud systems. Therefore, what constitutes reasonable federation cloud architecture is an important issue. This thesis presented a new federate cloud system named FCCS(Federated Campus Cloud System) for campus. FCCS generates dynamically a HTT(Hierarchical Tree Topology) using existing DNS domain name to provide scalability and adjustability. To improve query efficiency, FCCS uses ULU (Update to Up Level) to implement resource information aggregation and uses SLU (Search on Up Level) to do resource queries. We implemented a FCCS agent that uses XMPP as a communication protocol between cloud systems. Through hierarchical structure and cloud system alliance, we provided an effective and equitable resource access and rules.
