Even though the analysis of big data on personal information can bring us lots of benefits, the issues of personal privacy are often concerned with. In the general trade of commodities or products, the consumers are the demanders. But in the personal information market, they become suppliers. Thus a study on the selling price of personal information is particularly important. In this study, we construct a model and use the BDM Procedure (Becker-DeGroot-Marschak) to analyze the willing to sell of personal information for internet users according to the previous researches which are related to the economic structure of personal information market by considering whether the usage of personal information by the companies or third parties will disturb the consumers or not. Accordingly, this study finding are shown as below; (1) The expected value of consumer’s personal information will be affected by the proportion of consumers which are willing to pay high prices for their products. (2) If the companies or third parties engage in the newly created service and make the profit in the certain level, even though disturb happened, they can ignore the subsidies. (3) Personal information bring a positive impact on social welfare, because consumer surplus, companies’ producer surplus and third-party producer surplus are all increased. Finally, we suggest that the follow-up of scholars can focus on how to improve the technology of newly created service and the method of using personal information.
