Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 物理系研究所 === 104 === This thesis is consists of two parts of our experimental results. First, we use Ag nanocaps as a probe to investigate the physical mechanisms responsible for the higher order Bragg diffraction peaks in the specular reflection spectra of SiO2 nanosphere opal photonic crystals. We decorated Ag nanocaps on the top layer of the SiO2 opal and found that the reflection peaks resulted from higher order Bragg diffraction was changed into dips. This supports a proposed model in the literature that the higher order Bragg peaks is resulted from the combination of 3D Bragg diffraction in the bulk of opal and a 2D Bragg diffraction at the opal surface. Second, we replace Ag with dielectric nanostructure and wish to see the optical effect it made by increasing its width on the surface of the photonic crystals. Key Word:Photonic Crystal
