Over twenty years of mutual opening communications between Taiwan and China, the cross-strait’s relationship and the existence of Taiwan has already tightly linked together. While facing political, economical as well as military threats from China, in addition to the constant declaration of its sovereign right on Taiwan, the cross-strait’s relationship and the national identity of Taiwan are both changed. The Economic Cooperation Framework of Agreement (ECFA) between Taiwan and China were signed at June, 2010 and enterde into force in 2011. While the economic and trade relationship between the cross-strait is normalizing, the national identity of Taiwan has become increasingly high and that is the issue would like to discuss in the thesis. In recent years, China has recognized that resolving the Taiwan issue depends on the public support or opposition.
