To save manual counting time and reduce counting error circumstances, an automated cell numbers counting method is proposed, using image processing and dynamic tracking to improve the accuracy of cell counting for non-continuous moving cells of dynamic cells video. This method only requires detect images and simple computer-aided operation will be able to know cell numbers. This study is designed to the separation of live and dead cells of biochips and to detect the number of live and dead cells. Automated counting result by image processing, the correct rate of living cells is 100%, the tracking accuracy rate of dead cells is 95.24%
