Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械工程系研究所 === 104 === In this study, the use of polymer granules (hereinafter referred to as plastic A) and rubber particles (plastic B), as the traditional basement asphalt modified additives. By adding additives to enhance the adhesion of asphalt cement way to produce more than the traditional conventional asphalt tensile strength and high temperature deformation capacity of modified asphalt cement, which can be applied to the road pavement works. The results show that the melting point of the pellets (A) is between 170 ° C and 190 ° C, and the temperature of the furnace is controlled by the laboratory cracking furnace at 270 ° C, 250 ° C and 230 ° C, respectively. After two hours of heating to get the plastic (A) melting temperature of 236 ° C, 216 ° C and 201 ° C, all result are in line with the processing of the required temperature range. In order to meet the substrate asphalt mixing, the temperature should be reduced to about 150 ° C, if the cooling time for consideration, then the 230 ° C will be a better choice.
In this study, the effect of granulation (A) and granulation (B) on the modified asphalt was evaluated by the basic property test. The content of granule (A) was 6% and the content of granule (B) content (10%, 15%) can achieve the requirements of domestic modification Ⅲ type.
The results of softening point test showed that the modified asphalt was 4% in the granulated (A) and 15% of the granulated (B) added. The granulated (A) was added with 6% and the granulated (B) was added (10%, 15%) under the ratio, can achieve the standard. The viscosity experimental results show that when the amount of granule (A) and granule (B) is 6% and 10% and 15%, respectively, it can achieve the effect of modified asphalt type Ⅲ.
