Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 104 === Recently, an enormous increasing number of mobile devices have brought huge traffic demands for services. An effective way for increasing traffic demands is to use additional spectrum. LTE (Long Term Evolution) deployment in unlicensed spectrum is being considered. This feature is called Licensed-assisted access to unlicensed spectrum using LTE (LAA). Through carrier aggregation technique, LTE in the unlicensed spectrum is combined with LTE in the licensed spectrum. LAA technique is a very novel conception, and related technologies are still in the design stage. Before LTE using unlicensed spectrum, it is essential to carry out proper coexistence performance evaluations. There is no LAA system simulator currently in both industry and academy. In this paper, we develop a simulator which can realize LAA system, IEEE 802.11ac system and their coexistence simultaneously, and analyze their performance. Simulation result shows that LAA performance is better than IEEE 802.11ac, and the impact of IEEE 802.11 caused by LAA network is less than the impact of IEEE 802.11 caused by another IEEE 802.11 network.
