Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 教學專業發展數位學習碩士在職專班 === 105 === Action Research of Using Cooperative Learning and Cognitive Apprenticeship for the Learning Achievement of First Graders in Solving Their Addition / Subtraction Word Problems Advisor: Dr. Ching-Tien Tsai Student: Hui-Huang Lin Abstract According to the results of situational analysis, this research adopted the action research method to develop the action research plan of using cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems. The aim of the research was to describe the influence and reflection of using the cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship on learner achievement through the analysis and description of collected data. The main topics covered in this research were as follows: 1. How was the situational analysis used to studythe problems and reflection of using cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems? 2. How was the action research in the study planned and the reflection thereof used during the study of the use of cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems? 3. How were the implementations carried out to study the use of cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems? 4. What were the evaluations obtained in the use of cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems? The research results were as follows: 1. From the situational analaysis and reflection of using cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems, it was found that the situational analysis could assist the researcher to plan appropriate teaching action plans, to understand the situational advantages of using cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship and find common strategies to solve teaching problems. 2. From the design of cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship used to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems, it was found that the professional development of teachers were strengthened.The curriculum was centered on the learners and they were taught to have the appropriate attitude and skills to carry out cooperative learning before class. 3. From the implementation of the curriculum and the reflection of the use of cooperative learning and cognitive apprenticeship to find out the learning achievement of first graders in solving their addition / subtraction word problems, it was found that this action research enhanced the learning achievement of students and helped them to pay more attention. 4. From the evaluation of learners using the above mentioned action research, it was found that this action research effectively enhanced the learning achievement of the learners in solving their addition / subtraction word problems as well as the professional development of the teachers. According to the reflections and conclusion of this research, it is suggested that follow-up researches could be conducted.
