Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系 === 104 === Due to the rapidly emerging and explosion of various information in recent decades, media of digital learning, especially for electronic textbooks, plays an important role for efficiently presenting contents in modern eduations. However, to our best knowledge so far, only few research works focus on electronic textbooks usage investigation from viewpoints of junior high school teachers, as well as concern full of “service quality”, “information quality” and “system quality” indicators as related factors. In this study, users’ intention and satisfaction for junior high school teachers using electronic textbooks was carefully explored, by using framework combining technology acceptance model and “information system success model as theoretical basis. Besides, key factors contributing subject’s willingness to use electronic textbooks were also analyzed by measuring the significances of different indicators composing “service quality”, “information quality”, and “system quality”, respectively. Totally, 450 teachers from junior high schools at Taoyuan City in Taiwan, who ever used electronic textbooks, were sampled to participate the questionnaire test of this study. The proposed framework and adopted factor indicators were evaluated by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and linear regression analysis. The results show the following points. (1) The major indicators corresponding to “service quality”, “information quality”, and “system quality” are “responsiveness”, “accuracy”, and “reliability”, respectively. (2) Among all external variables, “system quality” contributes most on “perceived ease of use” and “perceived usefulness”. (3) “Perceived usefulness” results in significantly more impact in user satisfaction and intention than “perceived ease of use”. At last, (4) “users satisfaction” is significantly correlated to “users’ behavioral intention”. The main contribution of this work is to provide suggestion for optimizing resource allocation. For instance, to raise the intention for teachers adopting electronic textbooks in junior high school education environment, “system quality” should be highly emphasized, especially on “operation reliability” when electronic textbook system has to be adaptively adjusted to fit different requirement of circumstances. Besides, other media of digital learning, such as, online course or the novel “Flipped Classroom”, etc. can also be analyzed with similar framework and factor analysis adopted in this study.
