Nowadays, almost everyone uses a smart phone, and the communications software: LINE as an auxiliary tool, so that makes the contacts between people are easier. Whenever and anywhere, you can find out someone is using LINE as a contact tool. In workplace, communications and discussions among colleagues or supervisors by using Line are popular gradually as Line becomes popularity and popular. Whenever you get a problem in work, just open the LINE, you can get solutions immediately. It is quick, fast, easy and quite helpful to improve work efficiency. The study aimed at the situations that principal employees of Taiwan Power Company who use LINE on the work, and its effect about the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance, to discuss the influence of the difference between the employee's attributes on use LINE on business, and the time、frequency、function and other factors of using Line by employees on work to impact on organizational commitment and job performance. To achieve the above purposes, the thesis used questionnaires to Taiwan Power Company Datan power plant and Tunghsiao power plant’s employees for the subjects, and the resulting data to SPSS statistical software package were descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α value, t test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product moment correlation statistical analysis found that all variables are not affected on using Line in work except the factor of employee’s unit. On the other hand, only LINE's function of chat and news feed affect employees' organizational commitment and job performance, and other factors are not different significantly. Finally, the recommendation based on this research provides to the Taiwan Power Company the academic application of related topics and reference.
