This system contains a LabVIEW human interface, an anchoic chamber with broadband receiving antenna, an antenna rotating platform drived by stepper motor, and a vector network analyzer (VNA). LabVIEW interface is designed to control the MCU on stepper motor drive circuit board to rotate platform in 360 degrees. Simultaneously, using the GPIB, the interface collects the S parameters from VNA and calculate the DUT antenna parameters, such as return loss, maximun gain, radiation pattern. A 2.4GHz Bazuka dipole antenna with 1.8 dBi gain specification was measured after VNA and chamber path loss calibrations. Maximum gain of 1.92 dBi was calculated.
