In this study, 3 elementary students in the centralized special education class with moderate to severe intellectual disability in one of the schools of Taoyuan city as object, to explore the effectiveness of the smart mobile information technology as the teaching aid of elementary student with intellectual disability in the area of language education by the learning outcome of the intellectual disability students. Base on the evaluation of these 3 aspects which are Image identification, Vocabulary echolalia, and Recognizing and reading vocabulary before and after the student using this APP learning software, the results show as the followings. 1. Smart mobile information technology as the teaching aid of elementary student with intellectual disability in the area of language education can increase the students’ learning interest. 2. Smart mobile information technology as the teaching aid of elementary student with intellectual disability in the area of language education can improve the learning outcome of the students. 3. Parents are all highly satisfied, and positive on the integration of smart mobile information technology and the education.
