We collected the questionnaires in the elderly activity centers for seniors (over 60 years old) in Kaohsiung city and Pingtung counties. While 350 participants selected by purposive sampling, 294 effective questionnaires were collected, reaching to the rate of 84%. The SPSS for Windows 19.0 statistics software package was used to analyze the data, Frequency, t-test, one-way ANOVA, LSD comparative method and regression analysis. Results:1.Motivation: female group was significantly higher than the male group (p = .040 <.05). Over 75 years old group was significantly higher than under 65 years old group (p = .005 <.05). College level group was significantly higher than senior high school level group (p = .038 <.05). Funding more than New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) 35,000 per month group was significantly higher than the TWD 15,000 to TWD 25,000 (p = .043). Additionally, intellectual demands facet (p = .003) and facet of health and fitness (p=.047) were the same. 2. Attitude: Female group was significantly higher than the male group (p = .050 <.05). Funding less than TWD 5,000 per month group was significantly higher than TWD 35,000 group (p = .047). 3. Satisfaction: Female group was significantly higher than the male group (p = .028 <.05). Moreover, the psychological facet (4.06 (0.62) points vs. 4.28 (.85) points, p = .027 <. 05), interpersonal facet (4.14 (.65) points vs. 4.33 (.86) points, p = .036 <.05), education facet (4.07 (0.62) points vs. 4.28 (.84) points, p = .036 <.05 ) were the same. Funding less than TWD 5,000 per month group was significantly higher than TWD 35,000 group (p = .043). 4. There were highly significant correlation among motivation, attitudes and satisfaction. Motivation (52% of variance) and attitude (27% of variance) could predict the seniors leisure satisfaction levels. Conclusion: Many factors including gender, age, education level, monthly disposable spending, respectively, affected on recreational sports participation motivation and attitude in seniors. We could predominate motivation and attitude to predict the seniors leisure satisfaction levels effectively.
