Description
Summary:碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 醫學影像暨放射科學系暨研究所 === 104 === The image quality and patient dose are more important in modern medical. Taguchi Method L8(24) was adopted to find optimization image of heavy abdomen. The contrast-detail phantom and solid water phantoms were assembled to imply fat abdominal patient. The exposed image of the contrast-detail phantom was scored by 3 radiographers. As recommended by Taguchi's larger-the-better definition, we optimized the combination of parameters. The derived data are further organized to imply the dominant contribution according to the ANOVA and verified by the practical X-ray examination. The results indicated that optimization parameter setting were 90 kVp, 64 mAs, 120 cm SID, and 17*17(in2) FOV. The optimization parameters were derived according to mean, standard deviation, and S/N ratio plot altogether. The results were beyond the original setting, which also demonstrated the additional benefit in adopting the Taguchi method. The dominant factor was B factor (mAs), since B factor dominated the mean and standard deviation as well. Furthermore, optimal mAs setting can maintain consistency or reduce random error. The ANOVA as well as Taguchi method was consistent to each other as obtained in the results. Taguchi method and ANOVA had successfully proved that B factor were significant and over 95% confidence level.
