Therefore, the knee is frequently injured. One of the common injuries is patellar tendinopathy, which often makes athletes and people with over usage suffer from it. The knee cannot be normally used as it injured, and sufferers often choose knee-brace to protect their knees. The major functionalities of current knee-brace products in current market are to assist and support the knees, but soothe the pain of injury. This study attempts to design a acupressure plate with knee-brace to press the acupuncture points of knees, so that soothe the pain. The research sample is the sufferer of patellar tendinopathy who is used to exercising. The EMG is adopted to measure the situations of moving knees and to discuss the differences from before and after acupressure. The findings show that the developing knee-brace in this study can soothe the pain of injured knee.
