Previous studies demonstrated that leadership behavior of authentic leader will actually influence employee working attitude or behavior and elevate organizational effectiveness to enable enterprises sustainable development. This study investigates how the manager’s authentic behavior will impact on employee''s emotional intelligence and emotional exhaustion. The study methodology adopted questionnaires and total obtained 107 valid questionnaires. The empirical results show: (1) the authentic leader has some significant impact on the employee’s emotional intelligence; (2) the authentic leader has some significant impact on employee''s emotional exhaustion. (3) employees’ emotional intelligence has no significant effect on employee''s emotional exhaustion. Finally, the study will further discuss the findings to propose management and practical implications and make concrete recommendations at the end of the study for future research directions.
