Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士班 === 104 === The main purpose of this study is to discuss the effects of the direct instruction method on skill learning of beautification curriculum for dept of special education and integrative programs. This study employs the principles, the teaching sequences and strategies of Direct Instruction method;This study was conducted on three seventh-grade students’ in ten weeks of the beautification skill curriculum, using direct instruction method, based on the guidelines of operational examination of the class C skill category of Beautification of Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan with the Action Research way, The researcher analyzed and summarized the information, including observational records and skill-learning class evaluations, semi-structured questionnaire, reflective experience , and the operational examination scores of the class C skill category of Beautification of the current students in 2015.These will be the basis for revising the next action and get feedback further on teaching process. By using these information and analyses on students’ immediate effects and retained effects, the results of the experiment summarized as follows: First, the Direct Instruction method can promote the students on learning beautification skill curriculum of the immediate effects and retained effects. Second, the Direct Instruction method can help students on passing the operational examination of the class C skill category of Beautification.
