Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 環境工程學系碩士班 === 104 === In this study an investigation to the influence of cognition, attitude and behavior for fifth-graders of elementary school in terms of unused medicine disposal through STS teaching was carried out. The research methodology involves questionnaire survey to conduct pre-tests/post-tests between the experimental and control groups. The questionnaire consists of four sections, i.e. cognition measurement of unused medicine disposal, attitude measurement of unused medicine disposal, behavior measurement of unused medicine disposal and basic information. All sections could actually cover the whole related aspects. The questions are measured by a Likert's 5-point scale. All the collected data were analyzed by PASW statistics software with descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, analysis of covariance and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis. The results show that (1) the fifth graders actually perform better in their cognition rather than in attitude and behavior on unused medicine disposal. (2) Under the test corresponding to aware of used drug treatment advocates show significant differences in cognition and attitude. Also, Under the test corresponding to experience of handling unused medicine treatment can show significant differences in attitude and behavior. (3) It shows significant differences between cognition and behavior, as well as attitude and behavior for male students. Nevertheless, it only shows significant differences between attitude and behavior for female students. (4) Foe those students with no experience on unused medicine treatment and no understanding of unused medicine treatment advocates it shows significant positive correlation between cognition and behavior. (5) It shows significant differences on cognition between pre-tests and post-tests for experimental group as well as control group. However, It shows significant differences on attitude and behavior between pre-tests and post-tests only for experimental group. There is no significant differences for control group. (6) The attitude and behavior on unused medicine disposal for experimental group can show significantly positive rather than control group.
