Afterwards, Aikido continued to set up related organizations in Taiwan and gradually extended to people as well as schools. Although many competitions were hold, yet Aikido has not been popular sport like Taekwondo, Karate, Judo. This study tries to explore the effects of personality traits, behavioral involvement, social psychological involvement, and leisure benefits on re-participation intention from Aikido participants of five Metropolitans in Taiwan. From March to May in 2016, the structured questionnaire were sent to Aikido participants and issued a total of 400 questionnaires with valid 291 copies totally. The rate 72.75% of valid samples were analyzed by SPSS statistical software by using methods of descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, one way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the senior Aikido participants with more frequencies of practice in near three months and more frequent learning participants during one year present differences of leisure benefits from those in contrast. The dimensions of center of life, self expression in social psychological involvement have significant predictive abilities to leisure benefits, especially the independent variable, center of life with powerful effect on social benefit. Two dimensions of personality traits, Openness and Agreeableness, are the major predictive variables to affect leisure benefits where Agreeableness acts most powerful factor. Neuroticism hasn’t significant predictive ability to leisure benefits.   Different dimensions of leisure benefits such as physiological benefits, psychological benefits, and mental benefits can predict continuous intention to participate Aikido. Only social benefits can’t predict continuous intention to participate Aikido. The variable of behavior involvement such as seniority of Aikido has significant predictive abilities to continuance intention. But other variables like exercise times, times of participating competition havn’t significant predictive ability to continuance intention. All of dimensions in socal involvement have significant predictive abilities to continuance intention except the self expression without predictive abilities.   Aikido participant was advised to long-term and reguler in practicing Aikido in order to obtain benefits. Participants are suggested to have social relationships with different players by way of practicing Aikido. Neuroticism participants are recommanded to release negative emotion and pleasure appropriatly in freetime. Besides, Aikido participant can join activities with other Aikido training organitations, owing to their enhancement to the extent of continuance intention. Meanwhile, manager of gym are suggested to set up the class time in weekends, so that particiants can have various alternatives which may adjust the exercise times and invest more time and effort in order to increase continuance intention. Coaches are recommanded to show the movements with students or increase the chances of teaching in class time to improve aprticipant’s continuance intention.
