Based on existing literature, we proposed framework that consists of firm-specific factors, experience, and industry factors. We constructed the linear regression were to examine the relationships between factors, entry timing, and performance. In our research, we use firm level of analysis. We investigated the timing of its initial investment on the foreign market. The primordial sample size consisted of 395 listed companies from different service industry sub-industries, but our final sample size consisted of 174 firms, due to lack of information. The financial data we collected is latest 2015 year financial data. Empirical results, based on the entry information of listed Taiwanese companies has shown that older firms with higher level of internationalization, lower debt ratio from more competitive sub-industries tend to entry the new international market earlier. The Taiwanese service industry companies show better performance if they enter the market later. And the study supported the idea that entry timing is a mediator between the factor and international performance of the firm, which helps to company achieve better performance.
