碩士 === 佛光大學 === 應用經濟學系 === 104 === Owing to the rise of people's leisure awareness with the increase in national income and improvement of living standards in recent years, recreation has increasingly played an important role in people's lives. The research of Ragheb (1980) found that recreational attitude is one of the main determinants in leisure participation. When residents’ recreational attitudes are more forward, their recreation satisfaction tends to be higher. To residents living in modern, crowded cities, the park is the most convenient site for them. It plays a very important role in providing recreation and sports venues in their daily lives. As people’s participation in park activities is most likely to be hindered and influenced by their casual lifestyles, leisure attitudes and environment, safety, and cost, this study aimed to further explore the relation of attendance behavior at leisure facilities (herein referred to as the park)and recreational patterns, attitudes and hindrances in order to establish a simultaneous equations model of the relation concerned as well as to explore the interaction between the three scenarios and to analyze the determinants of attendance behaviors at leisure facilities. This research adopted the Special Research Project of “Related Study on Leisure Lifestyle, Leisure Resourcefulness, and Park Attendance between Urban and Rural Residents” (Guo Chang-ren, Wang Yong-sheng, Lin Sun-yi , 2013) granted by the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan as secondary data for the basis of quantization analysis. This study focused on Taichung and Huweito explore the relation between attendance behavior at leisure facilities and recreational patterns, attitudes and hindrances in order to understand residents’ attendance pattern and attitude in their daily lives and at leisure facilities. The results showed a significantly positive impact on park attendance behaviors of both the general and active life types. In the aspect of recreational attitude, making good use of leisure facilities demonstrated a significantly positive influence on behavior and frequency of park attendance. Factors improving attendance behavior at leisure facilities showed a significant positive effect on the leisure facilities in both urban and rural areas.
