| Summary: | 碩士 === 佛光大學 === 資訊應用學系 === 104 === Smart mobile devices and mobile networks are gaining popularity nowadays, including leisure and entertainment, social network, financial shopping, education service, etc. They are becoming diverse and convenient. This suggests that mobile network services have become a part of modern life.
The smart phone and smart mobile devices are electronic products that are becoming indispensable for contemporary people. However, few related mobile applications have been developed for elementary school campus information in Taiwan. Besides, how to upgrade elementary school information service quality for convenience of parents and faculty to use on smart mobile device is also very important. As a result, this study aims to integrate original elementary school information system into mobile applications. Advantages of the integration included campus information in sync with the original school information system network, no need to create a database and enter information repeatedly. The administrator will save time on updates and maintenance thanks to mobile applications.
This study attempts to provide a set of elementary school campus information mobile phones. We collaborated with Yi-Lan Yu-Cai Elementary School to create a development model that integrates elementary school campus information system into mobile applications as per user’s needs and analysis. This research included development process comparison, user function need analysis, data transmission framework, development of mobile applications, etc. for reference of developers in developing elementary school campus information mobile applications.
This study utilized the Android mobile operating system as a development platform and program languages included a combination of Java, HTML and PHP. Java was used to write mobile applications, and HTML and PHP were used to write mobile Webs and export-end information.
This study has made the following improvement to Yu-Cai Elementary School:
1. Upgrading the elementary school’s mobile information.
2. Simplifying functions necessary for the school.
3. Enhancing the school’s administrative efficiency.
