This news content as framed by the media has become the main source from which the audience get to know the supermodel. Past research about media framing, usually use candidates or celebrity as their case study, and this research use supermodel as study, may be the preliminary research of entertainers’ media framing. The study is divided into three parts: The first to probe what kind of faming images that newspaper used to presented model, second is to know the process about how newspaper set up their media framing from model to supermodel, third is to know which kind of media framing that newspaper usually use to describe supermodel, and the position they usually use. The method of content analysis was adopted by this research. The illustrated examples used in this research came from four newspapers—China Times, Liberty Times , United Daily and Apple Daily on how they reported on Janel Tsai. Altogether, 330 news samples from these four newspapers were analyzed in this study.
