| Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 國際創業與經營管理學程碩士在職專班 === 104 === The past couple of years have resulted in a significant narrowing of the issues pertaining to gender differences in entrepreneurship. This is due to the fact that many researchers and policy makers have made a conscious decision to give female entrepreneurship the attention it deserves. Despite the huge amount of effort made by international organizations such as the United Nations and World Bank, to close the gap of gender inequalities among female entrepreneurship, there are still many issues in this area. Moreover, even though there has been a significant level of growth among female entrepreneurs, male entrepreneurs still continue to dominate this industry. Consequently, it is imperative for international organizations and institutions to continue to implement policies and procedures in order to support more female entrepreneurs. The purpose of this research study is to identify the key characteristics between female and male entrepreneurs, analyze the key issues related to gender differences among entrepreneurs, and to investigate the relationship between males and females, as it relates to identifying business opportunities in the entrepreneurship world.
