Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === This study was to investigate the effects of health-related physical fitness of junior high school students after the intervention of SH 150 exercise program. There were 100 students participanted in this study inchuding 56 males and 44 females and the subjects were all from New Taipei Municipal Taishan Junior High School. In this study, students were divided into two groups according to class. The control group(28 males, and 22 females) maitined normal daily routine without any training but PE course and the training group received an eight-week training program in which they exercise for 15-25 minutes, twice a day, five times a week. To ensure there were no significant differences in health-related physical fitness between the two groups at the onset of the study, an independent samples T-test was conducted. The paired sample T-test were computed through SPSS 19.0 for Windows with the significant level set at α < 0.5 to see whether there were any significant differences in the students’ health-related physical fitness between two groups which includes body mass index (BMI), flexibility (Sit-and-Reach Test), power (Standing Long Jump), muscular endurance (Bent Knees Sit-ups), cardiovascular endurance (Distance Runs). The results showed that there was a significant differences between two groups in these dimensions except for BMI. The results indicated that the intervention of SH 150 exercise program indeed reinforced junior high school students’ flexibility, power, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that SH 150 exercise program should be intervent into junior high school to help students have sound physical and mental development and to improve students’ health-related physical fitness.
