Description
Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 哲學系碩士班 === 104 === Abstract Nowadays students tend to show indifference to psychological perception such as the meaning or value of life due to the pressure of educational competition. The researcher believes in the importance of life education and suggests that students may be taught to care about everything in the universe and to respect lives when they are elementary schoolchildren. If they are able to comprehend the meaning and value of life, they will have the courage and wisdom to confront the difficulties and obstacles in their lives. This study is designed based on the idea of philosophy for children, adopting multimedia-text as the teaching materials to conduct the teaching activities of life education. Firstly, my study discusses the objectives, ideas, and contents of life education in elementary schools. Next, it conducts the exploration on the philosophy for children, inspiring students to take interests in life issues based on the thinking of philosophy for children. The teaching materials of philosophy for children are mainly reading texts. Nonetheless, the researcher’s students do not favor reading texts. In this case, this study intends to design curriculum activities based on these multimedia-texts related to the three cores of life education: people and self, people and other people, people and environment so that students may discuss the rather heavy life issues in a relaxing manner. Lastly, this study states its analysis and proposes feasible suggestions based on the practice of integrating the philosophy for children into the multimedia-text of life education. Through this study, the researcher can not only clarify my understanding of life education but help students consider the meaning of life and the value of existence. Hopefully, students may build up an appropriate way of treating lives, appreciate the essence of life, experience the authentic life, cherish life, be passionate about life, and respect lives so that they may be grateful and stay positive all the time.
