This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and correlates of CSBs among patients taking flunitrazepam from psychiatric outpatient clinics. Methods: A total of 268 participants who were administered flunitrazepam from psychiatric outpatient clinics for at least 3 months were enrolled from June 2011 to May 2012. The following data were collected: occurrence of CSBs, demographic characteristics, the dosage of flunitrazepam and duration of its use, psychiatric diagnoses, physical illnesses, and alcohol use. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine the clinical correlates of CSBs. Results: Sixty-six (24.6%) participants reported experiencing CSBs. Logistic regression analysis showed that a high doagse (> 2 mg/d) of flunitrazepam (odds ratio [OR] = 1.941, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.090-3.455, p = .024) and the use of alcohol (OR = 1.948, 95% CI = 1.023-3.709, p = .042) were significantly associated with the occurrence of CSBs. Gender, age, the duration of flunitrazepam use, psychiatric diagnoses, and physical illnesses were not significantly associated with the occurrence of CSBs. Conclusions: CSBs among flunitrazepam users should be monitored routinely, especially among those with a high dosage of flunitrazepam who drink alcohol. Cheng-Fang Yen 顏正芳 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 25 en_US
