This system Based on the Bluetooth 4.0 technology and the existing WIFI Network to pass guests’ BLE Beacon RSSI. The BLE Beacon Observer uses CC2541 of TI (Texas Instruments) that communicate with WIFI CC3200 MCU by UART to collect BLE RSSI and pass all Beacons RSSI through WIFI AP to the Android 4.3 application (APP). Because the BLE Scanner can not communicate with the WIFI directly. In this case, the CC2541 Beacon TAG is a Broadcaster to be location. We also need to develop a location back-end program, the Beacon TAG location information will be shown on to the Android APP mobile device to achieve the purpose of target navigation. Through the discussion of this topic, two different Protocols were combined to keep their functionality, and also extend the use. We need to understand more about BLE and CC3200 hardware architecture to develop proprietary firmware and the development of dedicated APP positioning program.
