Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系博碩士班 === 104 === Taipower’s cable located in the area of western coach was easily stolen by theft and it causes power outage as well as customer’s loss. Meanwhile, Taipower spent much time and cost to additionally dispatch crew for repairing. Taipower is trying to develop monitoring equipment to solve it, but effect is limited and causes error operation. This thesis applies microprocessor based technology associated with GPRS, ZigBee, PLC (power line carrier), and voltage/current sampling circuit to implement wireless cable theft module for low-voltage distribution overhead lines and underground cables. In this proposed module, both charged cables and uncharged cables are all available for monitoring. For the charged cables, voltage/current sampling circuit associated with ZigBee function are designed to detect the abnormal one with “0” value of voltage. Meanwhile the power line carrier communication technology is applied to detect the abnormal one with fail status of communication for the uncharged cables. Besides, multi-confirmation is also applied for preventing error operation of system. Cable status are sent back to control center via GPRS communication, and then them are shown in HMI (Human Machine Interface). Abnormal status will send to designated personnel via SMS and Email. When an alarm occurs at the same time, the server will find out the immediate images of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and then to provide information to police as evidence, so that thieves can’t deny. Finally, sampled low voltage lines located at ChaYi business district Taipower are selected and installed for testing in order to justify the practicality and effectiveness for proposed system.
