Started by using the Patent US 6,476,982 B1, the structures are modified and/or the numbers of elements are increased to achieve better optical qualities. Except at some fields of view, imaging qualities of most fields have very good performance in the spatial frequency 360 lp/mm. In this thesis, lenses for plane imaging surface and curved imaging surface are designed and compared. For plane imaging lenses, the effects of the incident angles of chief rays on the image planes to the imaging qualities are especially analyzed. The results show that the perpendicular conditions strongly affect the image qualities. Slightly relaxing the perpendicular requirements can significantly improve the image quality and get well-behaved lens shapes which is relatively easy to be manufactured. For curved plane imaging lenses, the curved imaging plane takes the advantages of both compensating the field curvature of the lenses and matching the chief ray path to improve the perpendicular requirements. Eventually, these dual benefits can not only decrease the length and complexity of lenses but also get better image quality than that of plane imaging lenses. Hence, curved imaging lenses are worthy of being discussed and explored in the future. CHEN,CHAO-HSIEN 陳昭先 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 147 zh-TW
