Rapid change in technology, scale and strategy of big global brands of information technology (IT) has become more challenges. The main purpose of this paper is to evaluate the performance for major of IT using data development analysis (DEA). To conduct a valid and reliable evaluation process, this research integrates the slacks-based measure of super efficiency (Super-SBM) and Malmquist index to directly handle the slacks, explore best performer, analyzed the inter-temporal efficiency change. The selected companies are chosen from the Fortune magazine based on their revenue in 2014 which are more than 50 billion US dollars. For selecting evaluated factors of companies, this research uses 4 years financial reports from companies’ websites. Based on the Super-SBM model, we obtain proper scores and find the most efficient company. The results show that most IT companies have higher efficiency and contribute more effort to improving technical change during 2011-2014. And in that, performance of DMU1 (Samsung electronics), DMU2 (Apple Inc.) and DMU5 (IBM) are the best companies and relatively stable. Based on result of Malmquist index show that DMU10 (Panasonic Corporation), DMU5 (IBM) and DMU11 (Intel Corporation) have the highest degree of development and change technical and scale efficiency rapidly.
