Description
Summary:碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 104 === Abstract The Legislative Yuan adopted the Senior High School Education Act in 2013 in the Third Reading in an extraordinary meeting. The Act requires “military training instructors to withdraw from high schools/vocational high schools” by 2021. The objective of this study is to discuss the impact of such provision on current military training instructors in high schools/vocational high schools. Currently, military training instructors have to promote activities related to national defense education in addition to relevant military training work, such as national defense courses and consultation on student life. Although media have continued to say that military instructors carry out improper thought control on campus, but it is not true. Facing changes in the new era and promotion of 12-year compulsory education, the change of military education is inevitable, and the future of military training organization is uncertain. Previous discussion on military training instructors emphasized the military training system itself and work satisfaction of the instructors. However, past studies did not have in-depth discussion related to leadership behavior, work values, organizational commitment and work performance of military training instructors. This study explored the intermediary effect of organizational commitment on leadership behavior and work values, and proposed suggestions for management based on the study results. This study was conducted by means of questionnaire survey. The target was military training instructors in middle schools in Tainan and Kaohsiung areas. A total of 250 copies of questionnaires were distributed and 250 copies of valid samples were collected. The effective recovery rate was 100%. Average method and hierarchical regression analysis were used in statistical analysis to test the hypothesis of this study. The results of this study showed (1) significant positive correlation between background of military training instructors and leadership behavior; (2) significant positive correlation between background of military training instructors and work values; (3) significant positive correlation between background of military training instructors and organizational commitment; (4) significant positive correlation between background of military training instructors and work performance; (5) significant positive impact of leadership behavior and organizational commitment of military training instructors; (6) significant positive impact of work value and organizational commitment of military training instructors; (7) significant positive impact of organizational commitment and work performance of military training instructors. Suggestions based on the study results were proposed for education authority and future researchers as a reference.
