Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 104 === This study is intending to find a connection between working stress and coping strategy for secondary school teachers in Taiwan. It is also trying to analyze the differences for teachers in work stress and respond strategies. Teachers responded to Occupational Stress Indicator (OSI) questionnaire through their own perception on five dimensions, including, Job Satisfaction, Health Status, A-type Personality, Work Control and Felt of Work Pressure on the degree of pressure, stress response, and worrying insufficient student enrollment with 243 valid questionnaires. The results showed (1). Female, younger, less experienced teachers has poor physical and mental health. (2). Teachers have higher job satisfaction with part-time administrator, in large school and public school. (3). Private school teachers have higher work pressure than public school. (4). Female, younger, less experienced teachers has higher significant impact on worrying about the low-birth rate. (5). Private, smaller, remote areas school and junior high school teachers have higher significant influence on worrying about the low-birth rate. (6). Working pressure of secondary school teachers has negative relationship on supporting response.
