Although such an organizational change is indispensable, the psychological impact on organizational employees usually results in many negative effects and further influences its effect. This study targeted employees in Land Bank of Taiwan, exploring how the employees’ recognition of organizational change influences organizational commitment, as well as the role of the demographic variables. The research data were collected and analyzed from 224 copies of the questionnaire. Several findings are addressed: the employees’ background significantly influences their cognition of the organizational change as well as their commitment to the organization; the cognition of the organizational change positively influences organizational commitment. Suggestions are provided for practical and the theoretical use.
