Summary:碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 高階主管企管碩士在職專班 === 104 === Connectors are all products used in electronic devices with signal and power connection element and its subsidiary accessories. It includes wires, sockets, and plugs are all defined as connectors. This is a very important Electronics Industry in Taiwan. This study used Entropy based Classification(EBC) to extract connector company in Taiwan for studying the stock investment market. Based on the collecting connector company data, we focused on the period with 2013/1 to 2013/12. We used the financial data such as PE ratio, PB ratio, Cash Dividend Yield, ROE, tax-enhanced rate and Earning Per Share are used in this study. There are 45 datasets with 8 financial and stock-price related attributes employed in this study. It divided into 25 training data and 20 testing data. We also normalized the data. The if-then rules are generate based on EBC to find the priority to the rank of investing stock company regarding to connector companies. In the mean time, the study is compared to Buffet rule to attain the Return On Investment(ROI). The thesis will introduce the framework and procedures of the entire work to attain the ROI and accuracy rate. Keywords: stocks, returns of investiment, entropy-based classification
