IT commercial products related to computer, communication and consumer electronics has been a wide variety in the internet connection. To make it dramatically widespread, many social network websites have successfully created a brand-new lifestyle global wide. Particularly, the teenagers are much eager to enjoy the fantasy and imagination provided by the social network websites, that are beyond any restriction and boundary in their daily life. They are psychologically free to communicate and develop the social connection in any of the social network websites. In the social cyberspace, teenagers can easily access to social activities available in the cyberspace, such as developing social connection, sharing thoughts and feelings, information collection, amusement for leisure as adults do in the real world. Based on Facebook has been tremendous popular and successful in Taiwan, the study is intended to research the correlation of what the motivation, how much the involvement would be, the social relationship among the Junior high school students in city of Tainan. The survey results are described as below. 1. With the effective return questionnaire of 706, 90% of students are using Facebook. There is a close link in students’ daily life with Facebook. 2. The ranking of motivation in using Facebook, social connection is the first, and the followings are amusement for leisure, information collection, sharing thoughts and feelings. 3. There is statistical significance of the students involvement in Facebook, correlated to the different gender, family background, the academic education of father, the academic education of mother, father’s rules and attitude, mother’s rules and attitude. 4. There is statistical significance of students’ daily social life and relationship, correlated to the different family background and mother’s academic education. Furthermore, there is statistical significance of students’ social connection in Facebook, correlated to the different year grade, mother’s education and father’s rules and attitude. 5. There is a positive correlation in the motivation of using Facebook among the involvement, social relationship in the daily life and social cyber connection in the Facebook society.
