Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 會計學系碩士班 === 104 === This study examines the impact of corporate governance and global financial crisis on corporate financial performance in Taiwanese tourism industry. The empirical result finds that operating cash flow has a significantly effect on corporate financial performance. Specifically, a higher leverage ratio gives an indirection of a worse financial performance during the global financial crisis, 2007-09. More importantly, corporate governance doesn’t significant associated with corporate financial performance. Furthermore, the free individual travel of Chinese tourists traveling in Taiwan does not affect financial performance of Taiwanese tourism industry after 2011.
