The dual-resolution database and template matching method are used for precise positioning. The approach adopts the information from grey-level image blocks and coarse-to-fine classification. Also, the 2DPCA is used to calculate the transformation matrix and then all LSPs are converted into the feature space for template matching and similarity comparison. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is faster than the traditional technique of sequential matching. In the future, by considering the positioning resolution and speed, the device of LSP positioning can have product values and satisfy the market demands using the proposed method.
