How to keep business stable and pursue better performance are the key. According previous studies, company characteristics, capital structure, and distribution strategies are the key issues. This study applies regression analysis to evaluate published data from 23 local insurance companies from 2011 to 2014 and overlook the result-in effect of business performance from distribution strategies, company characteristics, and capital structure. The results showed various distribution strategies, company characteristics, and capital structure might positively enhance business performance indicators, such as ROA, ROI, EPS, MS. Also, company scale was a significant factor indicating that enlarging company scale resulted in better business performance, it was consistence with previous studies. As the intermediate aspect of distribution strategies, company performance indicators, ROE, ROI, EPS, MS, were positively affected by analyzing company characteristics and capital structure, especially MS being significant among them. It indicated that distribution strategies did exist intermediate effects.
