Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 化學工程與材料科技系碩士班 === 105 === ABSTRACT Textile industry will produce large amount of wastewater which is non-biodegradable, higher suspension solid, and obvious color, etc﹐. those cause serious pollution problem to the environment Therefore, the aim of this research would study the feasibility and treatment efficiency of the removals of color and COD for three different kinds of simulated dye wastewater (COD=500mg/L) which are Acid Dyes, Direct Dyes and Reactive Dyes by chemical coagulation method with three different kinds of coagulant which are FeSO4, FeCl3 and Al13Cl12(OH)24 (PAC). By the experimental result, the treatment of color and COD removal percentage for the Reactive Dyes Remazel goldenorange 4G by the coagulant of FeSO4 and FeCl3 Could not reach the expected efficiency. For the overall investigation, the result of color and COD removal percentage for the rest of five different kind of dye wastewater treated by PAC showed the significant result. The coagulant of FeCl3 would be the suggested selection for the consideration of the dosage of coagulant and production of turbidity. Keywords: Dye wastewater, Chemical Coagulation, (COD) Chemical Oxygen Demand, ADMI color index, Turbidity
