RHA was adopted as fillers to fabricate the MMM via water-vapor-induced phase inversion. The RHA and MMM were characterized by BET, FTIR, SEM, TEM, TGA, zeta potential, and ion-exchange capacity (IEC). The adsorption capacity was 1006 μmol/g for RHA and 844 μmol/g for MMM. In batch process, the protein adsorption equilibrium was fully established within 2 hours of contact time. The optimal pH for a better separation of lysozyme would be at 8. The adsorptivity of the MMM was essentially contributed from the filled rice husk ashes particles. After a batch adsorption-washing-elution cycle, the lysozyme adsorption about 74%, recovery about 73% with the purity near 100% by using RHA. In the flow process (dead-end) with a piece of 25 mm MMM disc for 0.5 mg/mL lysozyme solution, the optimal flow rate was 1 mL/min and the number of bed volume was 49.4. After an adsorption-washing-elution cycle to purify lysozyme from chicken egg white, the lysozyme adsorption about 72%, recovery about 71% with the purity near 100% by using MMM. The MMM performance could be effectively repeated in the dead-end operation. 孫幸宜 王敏盈 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 62 zh-TW
