Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 化學系所 === 104 === Two benzo fused five-membered heterocycle substituted secondary phosphine oxides (SPOs, 10a & 10b) were successfully prepared and their structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. These SPO compounds are not only easy to be synthesized but also produced in reasonable yields. Also, these SPO compounds could be tautomerized to each corresponding phosphinous acids (PAs) which might act as efficient pre-ligands for some transition metal catalyzed reactions. Moreover, they are air- and moisture-stable and thereby are beneficial for long-term storage. These SPO ligands have been applied in Catellani type reactions for the formations of carbazole derivatives. Extended works on this subject have been carried out based on the results of our former member. In addition, a more comprehensive mechanism was proposed to account the experimental observations. Another subject on the extended works of the meta-position C-H activation of substituted-benzene were carried out as well. Here, silver ion oxidant was induced to the reaction. A type of benzocyclobutene derivatives were obtained and believed via the meta-position C-H activation process. A mechanism was proposed to accommodate the experimental observations.
