The second part, water polyurethane (WPU) resins were prepared by reacting polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMG; Mn = 2000) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), and synthesize water polyurethane resin with WCS, discussion on the timing and amount of the WCS addition. The third part, the modified waterborne PU resin with alkoxysilane groups was prepared by adding 3-Aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES) , and mixed with Tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) during resins synthesis. To investigate the effect of modification on properties of WPU/silica resin and films. The results showed the WCS with the better solubility, soluble in water and dissolved by GAA(aq), and can be GAA dimethylacetamide mixture swelling, CS only can be dissolved in GAA(aq). CS and WCS dissolved in GAA(aq) process to reduce its molecular weight, improved thermal activity, heat resistance is lowered. When WPU resin synthetic resin EPU with EDA as chain extender of the film have better solvent resistance, tensile strength and better heat resistance, when 1,4-BD as a chain extender of the BPU has the larger stretch elongation. BPU resin added WCS can improve the mechanical properties of the tensile strength of the resin film, the storage modulus and stiffness, while the EPU resin add WCS is possible to improve the heat resistance. Alkoxysilane-modified PU/silica hybrid films mixed with TEOS can increase its thermal stability. PU resin containing SiO2 structures can improve the tensile strength and thermal activity.
