碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 104 === According to the research, it is very easy for clinical nursing staff in medical institutions to be infected with HBV, HCV, HIV, and AIDS, because of contacting contaminated needles with contaminant sources or blood when they practice clinic medical works (United States Department of Labor-Occupational Safety and Health Administration [USDOL-OSHA], 2001.) Meanwhile, the risk of Blood Exposure is underestimated greatly by nursing staff; for this reason, there are about six hundred thousand or eight hundred thousand nursing staff, who are infected by Blood Exposure in USA every year.
